Board of Trustees to meet March 21

Special meeting of the Board of Trustees called

Terri Kelly, chair of the University of Delaware Board of Trustees, has called a special meeting of the Board, to be held at 9 a.m., Tuesday, March 21, in the Audion of the Tower at STAR, as well as broadcast on UDLive. The meeting is open to the public and will include an allotment of time for members of the public to comment.

At the meeting, President Dennis Assanis and Provost Larua Carlson will provide reports to the Board, and the meeting will also feature a presentation from Gary Henry, dean of the College of Education and Human Development. In keeping with Section 1.3.3.1 of the Bylaws, discussion at the meeting will be confined to the topics listed on the posted agenda.

The agenda for the special meeting is available online. Draft minutes of the meeting will be made available on the Board of Trustees website no later than April 4, 2023.

Public comment process

A full accounting of the public comment guidelines, and a request form for individuals wishing to comment, are available online. Individuals wishing to comment are required to complete the online request form. The form will close 72 hours prior to the beginning of the meeting. At the appropriate time during the meeting, individuals who have signed up in advance for public comment will be invited to speak. Additional instructions will be provided to speakers to participate in the virtual meeting.

Individuals are limited to two minutes to present.  A total of 10 minutes will be reserved for public comment. Speakers are prohibited from ceding time for public comment to another individual.
