Newark Police investigate report of person struck by water pellet

Newark Police are investigating the report of a person was struck by a water pellet gun on Friday night, April 29, near the intersection of East Main Street and South College Avenue.

Anyone with additional information on the incident is asked to contact Newark Police at 302-366-7111 or University of Delaware Police at 302-831-UDPD (8373).

Members of the University community are reminded to be vigilant: If you see something, say something. Be aware of your surroundings and use well-lit paths.  Travel in groups when possible. Call 911 to report suspicious activity.
